John E. Wendling, CPA

John E. Wendling, CPA, has more than 30 years of experience in public accounting, specializing in services to the healthcare industry. He is highly involved with Medicare and Medicaid cost reports, special payment systems, and underlying law and regulations. He provides services to hospitals in the areas of operational reviews, audits of financial statements, forecasts and projections, special studies and general consultation. John has worked extensively with the Kansas Hospital Association, members of congress and their representatives and with CMS in the drafting the laws and regulations related to Medicare reimbursement. He was instrumental in the development of the EACH/RPCH and CAH programs and has spoken nationally on the subject at forums sponsored by the American Hospital Association, the Alpha Center, state agencies and hospital associations. John has extensive experience in the providing accounting and management consulting services to the following industries and/or sectors:
